It’s New Year Day (Happy New Year!) and we went to Santis, near Appenzell, Switzerland in hopes of seeing beautiful views of the mountains and landscape but instead, it was cloudy, foggy, and windy. We were tossed around by the strong gust and almost fell (or froze) to our deaths. It was -5C but the wind made it feel 10x worse.
Going up and down the cable car cost us 58 Francs (about USD 69). Better check the weather forecast and their webcam before going!
