Phu Toei National Park
SUPHAN BURI, THAILAND
Watch and Enjoy!
Interesting fact: Thu Toei National Park is the crash site of the Lauda Air flight 004 killing all 223 occupants on board in 1991.
Day 1 was spent traveling through the muddy rocky road to Phu Toei National Park in Suphan Buri province, which is the least visited national park in Thailand. The day included the headquarter and hiking up the steep 900-meter bug-infested path to Yod Khao Tevada (ยอดเขาเทวดา) which means ‘Angel’s Peak’ and has a view of three provinces being Suphan Buri, Uthai Thani, and Kanchanaburi. Unfortunately, on the way down, it started raining and there was a bloody accident.
Day 2 was much lighter with a lovely viewpoint in Uthai Thani province followed by an easy flat 100-meter walk to the Giant Tree.
